Job DescriptionIf the following job requirements and experience match your skills, please ensure you apply promptly.Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Family AND Acute Care Nurse Practitioner - dual certification) to join a growing otolaryngology team who will advance ENT services, deliver quality care and outstanding outcomes as a regional leader in Central Pennsylvania. The Advanced Practice Provider will join a collaborate team of three ENT surgeons at Lancaster General Health providing full-spectrum of care for patients including: outpatient, inpatient, surgical first-assisting, consults, rounds, as well as the potential for clinical research. The candidate will demonstrate experience working in this field as well as the drive and leadership skills necessary to develop and grow APP support of surgical subspecialty team. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a growing practice, delivering high quality, patient-focused care.Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday with weekend, holiday and call responsibilitiesJob Requirements:Physician Assistant:Current licensure as a Physician Assistant by PA Board of MedicineGraduate of Accredited Physician Assistant training programMinimum 1 year experience as a Physician Assistant working in ENT is preferredNurse PractitionerValid Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered NurseCertification by ANCC or other qualifying agency in area of specialty required.Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license and Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in PennsylvaniaCredentialed by the medical staff in accordance with current policy and procedure.Effective August 1st, 2023, the certification of the nurse practitioner must align with the population the nurse practitioner will primarily be caring for unless otherwise determined by the Chief Nursing Officer and in accordance with hospital practice needs.
