Job DescriptionPlease read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is accepting applications for a full-time, non-invasive cardiologist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Clinical Attending/Clinical Educator pathways. UAMS is the states only academic center with a rapidly growing Cardiovascular program. The Cardiology Division consists of 15 staff Cardiologists, 18 fellows (12 general, 3 Interventional, 2 Electrophysiology fellows, 1 structural imaging fellow) and 9 advanced practice providers who provide state of the art cardiac services including structural cardiology, cardiac electrophysiology, and advanced heart failure.Opportunity HighlightsJoin a growing full-service cardiovascular practice with tremendous institutional supportCompetitive salary + excellent benefits including up to 10% 401(k) employer matchClinical responsibilities include ambulatory clinics (both in Little Rock and surrounding areas); inpatient Cardiology ward and consultative services and cardiac imaging (echocardiography and for those interested, nuclear Cardiology, cardiac CT and MRI)Participate in education of medical students, residents, and Cardiology fellowsClinical research opportunities are available for those interested/6.
