Job DescriptionReady to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.Holy Cross Medical Group has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Vascular Surgeon to join our well-established group located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We are seeking a Fellowship trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Vascular Surgery physician to join a single specialty practice. The Vascular Surgery team utilizes our Inpatient Hybrid room and Interventional Suites for majority of the procedures. The ideal candidate will be expected to contribute to the teaching of our General Surgery Residents and will be appointed volunteer faculty at the University of Miami. Within the practice a comprehensive array of vascular treatment and surgical services are offered including:Arterial aneurysms, including the thoracic and abdominal aorta, and peripheral vessels.Carotid artery disease for prevention of strokePAD-Peripheral artery occlusive disease-causing exercise-related leg pain (claudication) or limb-threatening ischemiaMesenteric and Visceral vascular diseasesHemodialysis access for patients with kidney failureVenous disorders, including varicose veins. Requirements for this opportunity include:Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.Successful completion of an ACGME accredited vascular surgery residency/fellowship and ABS certification in vascular surgery.Board certification through the American Board of Surgery with certification of special qualification (CSQ) in vascular surgery or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment.Candidates must possess a current Florida medical license or be eligible for licensure in the state of Florida.
