Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Exceptional opportunity for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide vital services in a dynamic school district in Wilmington, DE. This contract position runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027 and offers diverse caseloads across multiple grade levels, including early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school settings. Candidates must hold an active Delaware SLP license to be considered.Key Responsibilities:Deliver speech and language therapy services aligned with students Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) across various school settings.Provide itinerant services at preschool locations in the mornings with building-specific services in the afternoons.Support evaluation processes, particularly at the high school level, with caseloads increasing through the academic year.Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals.Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress in compliance with district policies.Qualifications:Valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathology license required.Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and prior school-based SLP experience preferred.Strong evaluation skills, particularly for high school caseloads.Willingness to work five days a week, Monday through Friday, following school-specific schedules.Candidates must submit a current resume and DE SLP license for application consideration.Candidates currently in Clinical Fellowship status are encouraged to apply; virtual or SLPA roles are not accepted.Work Schedule:Monday through Friday with hours varying by school level (early childhood to high school).Typical hours range from approximately 7:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., including a paid 30-minute lunch.This role offers the chance to work in a supportive educational environment with a variety of student populations and developmental stages. xijylhu Those with a passion for school-based speech-language pathology and strong evaluation expertise are encouraged to apply.Submit your credentials today to be considered for this rewarding school-based SLP opportunity in Wilmington, DE.
