Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A school district in Monroe County, Michigan is seeking six experienced School Psychologists for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity runs from August 12, 2026, through June 2, 2027, offering full-time hours at 37.5 hours per week. Serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade, this role is essential in supporting the educational and emotional development of a diverse student population.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs).Provide counseling and intervention strategies to support student well-being and academic success.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert guidance.Ensure compliance with state regulations and district policies.Qualifications:Valid Michigan School Psychologist license (verification required).Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work onsite at multiple school locations, including Airport, Dundee, Monroe, Jefferson, Bedford, and Whiteford.Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.Benefits & Work Environment:Onsite positions only, with no virtual or VOCO option.Opportunity to work in engaging school communities within Monroe County.Collaborative professional environment with supportive district staff.This is a contract position strictly for the 2026-2027 school year, so candidates must be available for the full term.
