Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available working with students in a school setting through teletherapy and in-person services. This role supports educational programs and provides essential speech and language therapy to diverse student populations.Location: Huntingtown, MD (Teletherapy and On-Site at Warwick Elementary School, North Dorchester Middle School, and Choptank Elementary School)Position Details:Contract length through June 10, 2026Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per weekStart dates: Immediate openings at Warwick Elementary and North Dorchester Middle, and April 1st start at Choptank ElementaryWork primarily within public school settings, providing individualized and group speech therapy sessionsQualifications & Requirements:Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist licenseExperience delivering teletherapy and in-person therapy services in a school environmentStrong knowledge of educational speech therapy standards and protocolsAbility to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goalsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and educatorsKey Responsibilities:Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students K-8Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to support student progressMaintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policiesAdapt therapy techniques for teletherapy sessions as neededParticipate in team meetings and coordinate with educational support staffThis role offers the chance to make a significant impact on students communication abilities within a supportive school district environment. Immediate and early spring start dates provide flexibility based on availability.Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply promptly to assist schools in meeting their speech therapy service needs.Compensation for this position ranges from $42.13 to $55.22.
