This opportunity provides immediate access to an established and expanding retina patient base supported by strong internal and community referral relationships, advanced technology, and long-term growth potential.This role is ideal for a physician who values clinical excellence, collaborative culture, and the ability to build a sustainable, high-quality retina practice within a well-supported environment.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation package with productivity upsideComprehensive benefits including:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer contributionPaid time off and holidaysCME allowance and paid CME timeMalpractice insurance (including tail coverage)Relocation assistance and sign-on bonus available (if applicable)Responsibilities:Established retina volume with strong internal and community referral networkOpportunity to focus on medical retina or build/expand surgical volumeAccess to modern diagnostic imaging and in-office retinal procedure capabilitiesSupport from experienced ophthalmologists, optometrists, technicians, and administrative staffEfficient infrastructure designed to minimize administrative burdenFlexible scheduling with potential for long-term growth and partnership-style opportunityDiagnose and manage a broad range of retinal conditions, including: Diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal vascular disease, and macular edemaPerform intravitreal injections, in-office retinal procedures, and laser treatmentsFor surgical candidates: perform vitreoretinal surgery including vitrectomy, membrane peels, xijylhu retinal detachment repair, and related proceduresCollaborate closely with referring providers to ensure seamless patient careDeliver high-quality, compassionate, evidence-based careProvide high-quality, compassionate patient care aligned with best clinical practicesQualificationsMD or DO degreeCompletion of an ACGME-accredited Ophthalmology residencyFellowship training in Medical or Surgical RetinaBoard-Certified or Board-EligibleEligible for medical licensure in MarylandStrong interpersonal skills and a patient-focused mindset
