Job DescriptionHave you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.Full Time | Bergen County, NJ | 10 minutes from NYCEnglewood Health is seeking a board certified or board eligible OBGYN provider to practice the full scope of obstetrics in a collaborative, patient-centered Womens Health practice in Bergenfield, New Jersey.You will practice the full scope of obstetrics and gynecology with access to modern L&D suites, advanced minimally invasive surgery capabilities, and a supportive team of physicians, APPs, nurses, and perinatal support staff. This role is ideal for a compassionate, team?oriented physician who thrives in a high?quality, safety?focused environment.About the OpportunityAs an Outpatient OB/GYN, you will provide comprehensive ambulatory womens healthcare in a busy, team?oriented clinical practice.Providers see approximately 24 patients a day and perform an average of 20 deliveries in the hospital per month.Call Schedule Cross coverage with one of our Englewood based practices. Each provider covers one call shift every 4th night 7p-7a & one weekend Fri 5p-Mon 7aWhat your day will look likeDelivering well?woman preventive care, including annual exams, Pap tests, breast exams, and routine screenings.Conducting prenatal and postpartum visitsManaging gynecologic problem visits, such as abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, infections, menopause symptoms, and fertility concerns.Performing office?based procedures such as IUD and Nexplanon insertions/removals, endometrial biopsies, colposcopy, and other minor GYN procedures.Reviewing and interpreting laboratory results, imaging, and pathology reports to guide patient care.Providing contraception counseling, family planning support, and pre-conception guidance.Communicating with patients through the patient portal (MyChart), addressing follow?up questions, medication needs, and care coordination.Completing timely documentation within the electronic medical record (Epic), including visit notes, orders, and patient instructions. QualificationsMD/DO degree from an accredited institutionCompletion of an ACGME?accredited OB/GYN residencyNJ Medical LicenseBoard Certified (ABOG) or Board Eligible (must become BC within a five (5) year timeline per Medical Staff bylaws)DEA and NJ CDS registrationCurrent BLS, ACLS, and NRP certificationWhy Join UsTop-ranked #2 Hospital in New Jersey#1 in Bergen County for Quality, Safety & Patient ExperienceBergen County (just 10 minutes from New York City) offers vibrant suburban communities with top?rated schools, easy access to NYC, and abundant parks, dining, and cultural amenities.
