Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services to students across multiple grade levels, including Kindergarten through 5th grade, 6th through 8th grade, and 9th through 12th grade. This contract position is based in Calumet City, IL, serving within a dynamic school environment focused on supporting students' communication needs.Key Qualifications:Valid SLP certification or license appropriate for IllinoisExperience working with school-aged children, specifically grades K-12Strong understanding of speech-language development and intervention strategiesAbility to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionalsExcellent communication and organizational skillsResponsibilities:Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for studentsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student assessmentsDeliver targeted therapy sessions to improve communication skillsMonitor progress and adjust interventions as necessaryMaintain clear and timely documentation and reportsParticipate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student developmentAdditional Details:Contract position located in Calumet City, ILTravel contracts are available for qualified candidates holding valid SLP licenses for their state of applicationEligible travel SLPs will receive tax-free stipends for housing and mealsHybrid work options may be considered, offering a blend of in-person and remote servicesThis role provides the chance to make a meaningful difference in students lives by promoting effective communication skills in a supportive educational setting.
