Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A school-based Behavior Specialist role is available in Athens, AL, seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide support in an educational setting. This contract position begins immediately with an expected end date of May 22, 2026. The assignment involves approximately 35 hours per week, plus up to 5 additional hours for supervision and meetings with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).Key Responsibilities:Deliver direct behavioral interventions and support to students across various age groups and severity levelsCollaborate with school staff and BCBAs to implement individualized behavior plansMaintain flexibility with assignment locations within the school and accommodate diverse student needsParticipate in meetings and receive supervision as required under RBT certification guidelinesArrive approximately 15 minutes before student start times according to assigned school level:Elementary: 8:00 AM 2:30 PMJunior High/Middle School: 8:00 AM 3:00 PMAll Grades (AAA/ASFL program): 8:00 AM 3:00 PMHigh School: 8:30 AM 3:40 PMQualifications:Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (expired certifications are not accepted)Willingness to work with students of all ages and behavioral severitiesFlexibility to work across multiple school locations as requiredThis role is intended as a backfill position and typically does not require an interview; a brief virtual meeting may be arranged after acceptance but is not guaranteed. xijylhu If you hold a current RBT certification and are prepared to support students in diverse educational settings while working collaboratively with behavioral specialists, consider applying for this position.
