Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A professional Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a contract role in the public school setting, serving students across multiple elementary and middle school locations in Lexington Park, MD. This opportunity offers the chance to provide critical speech and language support to children, contributing to their academic and social development.Key Details:Location: Lexington Park, MDSchool Assignments: Warwick Elementary School, North Dorchester Middle School (immediate start), and Choptank Elementary School (available beginning April 1st)Position Type: ContractContract End Date: June 10, 2026Schedule: 37.5 hours per weekDelivery Model: On-site and Teletherapy options availableQualifications:Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Maryland requiredExperience in pediatric speech and language therapy within educational settings preferredFamiliarity with teletherapy methodologies is a plusStrong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and healthcare providersResponsibilities:Evaluate and provide therapeutic interventions to students with speech and language disordersDevelop individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs and educational goalsParticipate in team meetings and document progress meticulouslyEnsure compliance with school and state regulations and guidelinesBenefits of this position include the opportunity to work in a supportive school environment with a well-defined schedule and the ability to impact student growth positively.Qualified candidates who meet the licensing requirements and are passionate about supporting student communication development are encouraged to apply promptly to take advantage of this rewarding contract assignment.Compensation for this position ranges from $42.13 to $55.22.
