Job DescriptionBefore applying for this role, please read the following information about this opportunity found below.Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A contracted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Lusby, MD, serving students at multiple elementary and middle schools. This role offers direct and teletherapy services within public school settings, supporting the communication development of children.Key Details:Location: Lusby, MDSchools: Warwick Elementary School, North Dorchester Middle School (immediate start), Choptank Elementary School (starting April 1)Position Type: ContractSchedule: 37.5 hours per weekContract End Date: June 10, 2026Licensing: Active Maryland SLP license requiredResponsibilities:Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children.Provide speech therapy services both in-person and via teletherapy platforms as needed.Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.Participate in meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams supporting student success.Qualifications:Active Maryland license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.Experience working in school settings preferred.Ability to conduct teletherapy sessions effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to student-centered care and educational support.This contract position offers flexible engagement within a supportive educational environment.
