Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Northern Virginia, approximately 45 minutes south of Washington, DC. This opportunity involves providing specialized speech therapy services across multiple educational settings, including school campuses and in-home care.Key Responsibilities:Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload including a 4th-grade student receiving in-home services, a 2nd-grade student at school, and up to two students attending a private day schoolCollaborate with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student communication outcomesMaintain accurate documentation and progress notes consistent with state and district policiesAdhere to protocols including VA Department of Social Services checks and TB testing requirementsQualifications and Experience:Active Virginia licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is mandatoryExperience working with school-age children, particularly in grades 2 to 4, is preferredAbility to provide on-site services; virtual options are not available for this roleDemonstrated reliability and effective communication skillsPosition Details:Contract role with an immediate start date through May 29, 2026Part-time schedule, approximately 10-15 hours per week across three school assignmentsServices will take place at varying locations, including home-based therapy and private day school settings in the Woodbridge and Manassas areasBenefit Highlights:Gain valuable experience working in multiple educational environments with varied student needsSupport from an engaged account management team to assist with credentialing and professional resourcesCandidates interested in this opportunity should be prepared to complete a prescreen interview during available windows in the morning or early afternoon Eastern Time.
