Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A contract opportunity for licensed Physical Therapists is available to provide Extended School Year (ESY) services in Bucks County, PA. These positions primarily support school-based PT needs across multiple locations, with a main office based in Doylestown. Candidates will deliver therapy services to students with moderate to severe needs, ensuring interventions support their educational advancement during the summer instructional period.Key Details:Position Type: Contract, Extended School Year (ESY) PT servicesLocations: Various sites in Bucks County including Doylestown, Lower and Central Bucks, Upper BucksSchedule: June 29, 2026 July 30, 2026; MondayThursday; student hours approximately 9:00 AM 2:30 PM, with related service staff starting earlierHours: 12-24 hours per week, depending on site assignmentCaseload and site information provided in advance; placements are aligned with candidate residence (within 35 minutes) and student needsMust have reliable transportation for commutingCandidates who worked with this client via another agency in the past year are ineligibleQualifications & Requirements:Current and active Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Physical Therapist licensure compliant with PDE PT requirementsUnderstanding of the PA DOE credentialing processComfortable working with students who have moderate to severe special needs and behaviorsCommitment to the full ESY schedule, with availability during specified hours and daysMust reside within 35 minutes of assigned school site and confirm reliable transportationSubmission packet to include: full name, city of residence, resume with bullet highlights, proof of licensure, and a supervisor reference (not coworker), rating 3.5+ if using RefAssureCandidates will be asked screening questions about availability, reasons for leaving current roles, commute plans, attendance reliability, and any hesitationsPrimary Responsibilities:Provide physical therapy services to school-aged students as per individual education plans (IEPs)Collaborate with educators and related service staff to support student goalsMaintain documentation and reports compliant with school and PDE requirementsAdapt interventions to accommodate varied student needs across multiple settingsThis is an excellent opportunity to support meaningful student outcomes within a structured ESY program in Bucks County.
