Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.An educational institution in Elgin, IL, is seeking a dedicated professional with expertise as a Behavior Specialist or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students in an elementary school setting. This contract position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with a consistent 35-hour workweek during the 2025-2026 school year, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 12, 2026.Key Qualifications:Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required.Experience working with elementary students, particularly managing a caseload of approximately 1.1 students.Strong understanding of behavior intervention strategies and individualized support plans.Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families.Location:The role is based in Elgin, Illinois, within a school environment.Responsibilities:Provide behavior intervention services to assigned elementary students.Implement evidence-based techniques to support student development and progress.Monitor and document student responses to interventions.Collaborate with teachers, behavior specialists, and families to ensure consistency.Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as needed.Benefits:Structured schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.Opportunity to work in a supportive, education-focused environment.Qualified candidates with an active RBT certification are encouraged to apply promptly.
