Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Occupational therapist opportunities are available for in-person positions serving school-age children in Naperville, IL, and surrounding areas. These roles focus on providing specialized support within school settings, including teletherapy, healthcare, and home health experiences valuable to the role. Two openings are available, with options suitable for both full-time and part-time practitioners, including consideration for experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).Key responsibilities include:Delivering Occupational Therapy services primarily to K-5 students, including those with autism.Implementing individualized treatment plans in a supportive school environment.Collaborating with school staff to promote student success and development.Maintaining clear and timely documentation of therapy sessions.Participating in school meetings and contributing to team efforts.Position details:Full-time role supporting students with autism in a K-5 building.Schedule: 4 days per week, 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM (Palatine area)Additional 1 day per week in a K-5 setting, 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM.Part-time option, ideal for candidates seeking flexible hours.1.5 days in a middle school, 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM.1.5 days in a K-5 school, 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM (Palatine area).2 days in another K-5 school, 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM.Qualifications sought:Experience in school-based Occupational Therapy.Comfort and skill working with students with autism.Ability to provide engaging, effective therapy in-person.Licensed OT or experienced COTA (considered for part-time position).Strong teamwork and communication skills.If you have a COTA available for referral, please submit their information along with OT candidates.
