Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time physical therapy opportunity is available in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina, serving multiple schools within the Durham Public Schools district. This contract role offers the chance to work with a diverse caseload of approximately 30-40 students, spanning elementary through high school age groups. The position requires on-site presence and involves supporting student needs across about 5 to 9 schools, with some schools requiring only 1-2 visits per month.Key Responsibilities:Provide physical therapy services aligned with school schedules: elementary (7:45 AM 2:15 PM), middle (8:30 AM 3:15 PM), and high school (9:15 AM 4:15 PM).Manage caseloads of students with varying physical therapy needs, adapting to district priorities.Collaborate with school staff and families to implement therapy plans in educational settings.Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.Qualifications:Active physical therapy licensure.Experience working as a physical therapist in school settings is required.Ability to travel within Central and North-Central Durham to serve assigned schools.Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple school visits weekly.Location:Durham Public Schools district, North Carolina (primarily Central and North-Central areas).This full-time contract position offers 37.5 hours per week and is available immediately through June 10, 2026.
