Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Two Occupational Therapist positions are available in Palatine, IL, offering in-person services focused on school settings. These roles provide opportunities for skilled OTs and experienced COTAs seeking to support students in K-5 and middle school environments, particularly with autism and related special education needs.Position 1:Primarily supports K-5 students with autism in a dedicated building.Schedule includes 4 days from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM and 1 additional day with the same hours.Emphasis on direct support and intervention within the school setting.Position 2:Part-time option suitable for candidates looking for flexible school schedules.May consider experienced COTAs for this role.Responsibilities split between 1.5 days at a middle school (7:15 AM to 2:15 PM) and 3.5 days at K-5 schools (8:15 AM to 3:15 PM) in the Palatine area.Qualifications and Desired Experience:Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with relevant school or healthcare experience.Ability to deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs.Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and healthcare teams.Familiarity with interventions for students with autism is highly valued.Commitment to providing in-person occupational therapy services.Responsibilities:Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions to support student development.Document progress and communicate effectively with school staff and families.Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to promote student success.Maintain compliance with school policies and regulatory standards.Location: Palatine, Illinois (in-person services)If you are an OT or an experienced COTA ready to support school-based occupational therapy in an engaging, impactful setting, consider applying today to contribute to student growth and success within the Palatine community.Compensation for this position ranges from $34.46 to $64.46.
