Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.This opportunity is for an Occupational Therapist specializing in pediatric care, located in Pelican Rapids, MN. The position supports students across Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle, and High School settings within a school environment on a contracted basis. The role focuses on enhancing the functional skills and independence of students through tailored therapeutic interventions.Key Responsibilities:Provide occupational therapy services to students from Early Childhood through High School.Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate therapy goals into educational activities.Monitor progress and adjust therapy approaches accordingly.Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and comply with school policies and regulations.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.Desired Experience and Qualifications:Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials to practice in Minnesota.Experience working in school-based settings across multiple grade levels.Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy techniques and interventions.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with education staff and families.Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks independently.Location: Pelican Rapids, MNBenefits of this contract role include the chance to impact student growth within a supportive educational environment and develop professional skills across varied age groups.Qualified candidates interested in providing essential occupational therapy services in this school setting are encouraged to apply for this contract position.Compensation for this position ranges from $28.78 to $58.78.
