Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A school-based physical therapy position is available in the Bucks County area with assignments primarily in Doylestown, PA, and surrounding locations within Bucks County Intermediate Unit 22. This contract opportunity involves providing physical therapy services during the Extended School Year (ESY) from June 29 to July 30, 2026, focused on supporting students with moderate to severe needs.Key Responsibilities:Deliver direct physical therapy services in school or group home settings according to student needs.Collaborate with educators and related service staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).Maintain documentation compliant with Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) and client policies.Participate in orientation and preparation sessions prior to ESY dates.Travel within Bucks County, primarily in Lower, Central, and Upper Bucks for itinerant assignments.Candidate Qualifications:Must hold an active Pennsylvania physical therapy license and meet PDE requirements for school-based therapy.Ability to work Monday through Thursday, with student hours generally between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., and related services staff typically from 8:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.Reliable transportation and residence within 35 minutes of assigned site is required.Ability to manage moderate to severe student behaviors comfortably.Commitment to the full ESY schedule, with availability for 12-24 hours per week depending on location.Must provide a supervisor reference, proof of licensure, and respond to screening questions related to availability, credentialing, and commute.Applicants previously employed with this client through another agency within the past year are ineligible.Location:Assignments available across Bucks County, PA, including Doylestown, Lower, Central, and Upper Bucks regions.This role offers the chance to support students physical development in educational settings across Bucks County.
