Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Provide specialized physical therapy services for students during an Extended School Year (ESY) program in Bucks County, PA. These contract positions offer the opportunity to impact student progress in multiple school locations, primarily based out of Doylestown, with assignments in surrounding communities.Key Responsibilities:Deliver PT services aligned with individual education plans (IEPs) for students with moderate to severe needs and behavioral challenges.Collaborate with educators and related service staff to support student goals in both center-based and itinerant settings.Maintain accurate documentation and comply with Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) credentialing and program requirements.Participate in orientation and preparatory activities prior to ESY instruction sessions.Adapt therapy delivery to diverse classroom environments across assigned locations.Qualifications:Active and valid Pennsylvania PT licensure meeting PDE standards.Experience working with school-aged children and understanding of ESY program structure.Ability to manage caseloads in multiple school sites within Bucks County.Reliable transportation and residence within 35 minutes of assigned location.Flexibility to work Mondays through Thursdays, from 8:45 am to 2:45 pm or as scheduled based on site and service type.Comfort and skill in working with students exhibiting moderate to severe special education needs.Commitment to full ESY schedule from June 29 to July 30, 2026.Position Details:Contract role with hours ranging from 12-24 per week depending on location.Services delivered during ESY session; orientation and setup dates vary.Opportunities available in Lower, Central, and Upper Bucks County, including itinerant group home placements.Benefits:Meaningful therapeutic engagement with school-age children.Supportive work environment focused on student success.Experience within a well-established intermediate unit framework.Those interested in supporting childrens physical therapy needs in a school setting are encouraged to apply.
