Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide in-home services to a homebound 10-year-old student. This role involves travel to the student's location in Port Chester, NY, delivering personalized therapy within a school-based context. The position focuses on offering 4 sessions of 30 minutes each, tailored to support the unique needs of the student.Key Responsibilities:Provide school-based occupational therapy services in the home setting.Develop and implement individualized intervention plans.Collaborate with caregivers and educators to ensure continuity of care.Monitor student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed.Utilize specialized techniques, including Pitched Voco strategies, to encourage communication and engagement.Desired Qualifications:Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings.Proven ability to work effectively with pediatric, homebound students.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and families.Familiarity with in-home service delivery and travel requirements.Previous experience or training involving pitched voco or similar assistive communication techniques is preferred.Location and Work Details:Position requires travel to the student's home in Port Chester, NY.Four 30-minute therapy sessions per week.This role offers the chance to make a significant difference in a child's educational and developmental journey while working within a flexible, travel-based setting.
