This role demands accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.Location: Mauston, WIContract PositionResponsibilities:Communicate promptly with physicians, families, and healthcare teams regarding significant changes in resident conditionsComplete all required resident assessments thoroughly and timelyAdminister medications accurately, adhering to the 5 Rights (right patient, drug, dose, route, and time)Perform wound care and assessments as neededAssist Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) with responding to call lights and resident needsMonitor residents vigilantly for any shifts in condition or behaviorProvide leadership on the floor by assessing, directing situations, and coordinating careReport any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation immediately to appropriate leadershipMaintain detailed and accurate resident records with comprehensive chartingPerform additional nursing duties as requested by managementQualifications:Possess a valid Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) licenseCurrent CPR/BLS certification requiredMinimum of a two-year degree in nursing; a four-year degree preferredAt least 1 year of related clinical experience preferredStrong attention to detail and exceptional accuracy in clinical tasksAbility to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staffAbout Mauston, WI:Situated in the heart of Wisconsin, Mauston offers a welcoming community with a tranquil small-town atmosphere.
