Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Join a dynamic surgical nursing team as a Registered Nurse specializing in Neuro/Spine Operating Room care. This contract position offers a focused opportunity to apply advanced perioperative skills in a state-of-the-art medical center environment.Responsibilities:Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing neuro and spine surgeries with a 1:1 patient ratio.Collaborate closely with surgical teams in the Main OR, utilizing the Cerner EMR system.Support the utilization of advanced surgical technology including Davinci robotic systems and orthopedic instrumentation.Participate in a 4 x 10-hour shift schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., totaling 36 guaranteed weekly hours.Fulfill call requirements as assigned, with details discussed during the interview process.Adhere to strict dress code: navy scrubs only; no T-shirts, fleece jackets, hoods, or nail polish permitted.Qualifications:Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.Minimum of 2 years experience in neuro/spine operating room nursing.Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS - AHA) certifications required.Experience with Davinci Robot, Max face, and orthopedic surgical procedures preferred.Ability to float within a 25-mile radius of the hospital campus.Commitment to patient-focused surgical care in a 24-bed unit.Location Overview:Situated in Birmingham, AL, this well-equipped facility offers a collaborative clinical setting with a focus on innovative surgical procedures and patient-centered care.
