Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Deliver specialized perioperative nursing care in a dynamic operating room environment focused on neuro and spine procedures. This contract role offers a 4 x 10-hour shift schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., providing a balance of structure and life integration.Key Responsibilities:Provide skilled nursing care before, during, and after neuro/spine surgeries.Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management.Participate in call rotations as required, supporting the teams responsiveness.Float within a 25-mile radius when necessary, maintaining adaptability.Qualifications and Experience:Registered Nurse (RN) license.Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience specializing in neuro/spine surgery.Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA standards).Familiarity with technologies such as DaVinci Robotic Surgery, Max Facet, and orthopedic procedures is preferred.Professional appearance adhering to the dress code: navy scrubs only, no T-shirts, fleece jackets, hoods, or nail polish.Location Overview:Located near Birmingham, Trussville offers a welcoming community with a blend of suburban comfort and access to vibrant city amenities.
