We offer above-average pay, excellent benefits, and a tight-knit company culture with low turnover and strong support from leadership.Job DescriptionAs an HVAC Foreman, you will lead the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems on commercial construction projects. This role involves supervising crews, coordinating with project managers and other trades, and ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and in compliance with plans, specifications, and code requirements.Essential Job FunctionsLead daily HVAC crew operations, assigning tasks and tracking progressConduct daily Job Hazard Assessments (JHAs) and enforce all safety and PPE protocolsInspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure safe, reliable operationSupervise job site activities in alignment with project plans and schedulesInterpret HVAC plans, MEP drawings, and blueprints for accurate executionCoordinate with GC Site Supervisors and other trades to maintain workflow and avoid conflictsPrepare and submit material lists in advance to prevent delaysMobilize equipment and materials, report shortages, malfunctions, or field issuesPerform quality control checks to ensure compliance with specs and codeSubmit daily Foreman Logs with crew hours and whiteboard photo documentationCommunicate field updates, RFIs, material needs, and safety incidents to Project ManagersLead weekly toolbox talks and whiteboard planning sessionsTrain and mentor apprentices and new team members on the jobServe as the primary on-site contact for inspections and field-level decisionsMaintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant job siteSupport the crew by performing HVAC installation or labor tasks as neededRequired Skills and ExperienceLeadership Experience: Minimum 4 years in a supervisory role as an HVAC Foreman on commercial construction projectsTechnical Expertise: Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, materials, and applicable codes and standardsBlueprint Proficiency: Ability to read and interpret mechanical layouts, blueprints, and technical drawingsCommunication & Coordination: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; capable of interacting professionally with clients, inspectors, and project teamsTeam Management: Proven ability to lead crews, delegate tasks, xijylhu and maintain productivity and safety on active job sitesPhysical Capability: Must be able to:Lift and carry up to 50 lbsSafely operate hand and power toolsWork on ladders, scaffolding, elevated platforms, forklifts, and boom liftsPerform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, climbing, twisting, and standing for extended periodsEducation: High school diploma or GED requiredLicensing: Valid driver s license with a clean driving recordCertifications (Preferred): OSHA 30, CPR, AED, and First Responder training encouragedScreening Requirements: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening prior to employmentPiedmont Service Group is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
