Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.This opportunity calls for an experienced registered nurse with medicine/telemetry specialization to support a 32-bed unit caring for adult and older adult trauma patients. The unit maintains a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, allowing for focused, high-quality care. Nurses will manage acute medications including Heparin drips in a fast-paced environment requiring strong clinical skills and attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:Provide skilled nursing care to trauma and medically complex adult patientsAdminister acute medications and monitor patient responsesUtilize specialized equipment including gait belts, geriatric chairs, and PT devicesMaintain thorough, accurate documentation of patient conditions (including badge-appropriate photo and demographics)Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support rehabilitation and recovery effortsAdhere to all safety protocols and professional standards including BLS and ACLS certificationsQualifications and Experience:Current RN license with documented experience in medicine/telemetry unitsBLS and ACLS certifications requiredExperience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems; familiarity with NO RTO EPIC EMR preferredKnowledge of skilled nursing, rehabilitation nursing, or prior NICHE training is a plusStrong clinical judgment and ability to manage multiple acute care patients simultaneouslyLocation:The position is based in Marietta, GA, a vibrant community offering a blend of suburban comfort and urban conveniences.
