Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Provide expert cardiac nursing care in a specialized Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) located in Greenwood, IN. This contract opportunity requires seasoned Registered Nurses with CVICU experience to manage complex pre- and post-operative cardiac patients, ensuring optimal recovery and comfort. Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as you will support a dynamic team and may float to Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU), Pediatrics, and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) as needed.Key Responsibilities:Deliver advanced nursing care to cardiac patients in a new, specialized CVICU setting.Monitor and manage pre- and post-operative surgical cardiac patients.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans.Maintain vigilance and responsiveness during on-call periods.Support adjacent units (PICU, Peds, NICU) as required for patient care continuity.Qualifications:Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.Proven experience in CVICU nursing, with confidence managing complex cardiac cases.Ability to work 36 hours per week, including every other weekend and holidays.Willingness to be on call and float to related care units.Strong critical thinking, communication, and team collaboration skills.Location Highlights:Greenwood, IN, offers a welcoming community with suburban comfort and easy access to metropolitan amenities.
