Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A skilled Registered Nurse with oncology expertise is needed for a contract opportunity in Loveland, OH. This role supports inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and oncology care within a specialized clinical trials unit comprising 16 and 14-bed units. Focused on delivering high-quality patient-centered care, the position involves chemotherapy administration, stem cell therapy, and managing complex oncology cases.Responsibilities:Provide nursing care for patients in BMT, stem cell therapy, chemotherapy, and oncology clinical trials settings.Administer chemotherapy safely and accurately following established protocols.Utilize EPIC EMR for thorough and timely charting.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.Float to other equivalent inpatient units as needed.Maintain patient ratios typically ranging from 1:5 to 1:6.Work 36 hours per week with three 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years RN experience in Med Surg, telemetry, PCU, BMT, or inpatient oncology.At least 1 year of travel nursing experience is required.2 years of BMT experience.Certification in ONS Chemo or ONCC Chemo-Bio.Demonstrated experience with chemotherapy administration.Proficiency with EPIC EMR/charting.Location Overview:Loveland, OH offers a welcoming community environment combining suburban comfort with accessibility to urban amenities.
