Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Provide skilled nursing care supporting patients on a 23-bed cardiac telemetry unit with overflow medical/surgical needs. This position offers the opportunity to care for young adult through late adult patients requiring acute inpatient care and observation. You will work within a variable staffing grid including RNs, LPNs, Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), and Nurse Interns (NIs), with the RN assuming full responsibility for patient teams. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5, allowing for focused and effective patient management.Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with cardiac telemetry and medical/surgical conditions.Monitor patient status, including cardiac rhythms, and respond appropriately to changes.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.Demonstrate proficiency in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) protocols.Successfully complete a proctored rhythm test to ensure competency in cardiac monitoring.Qualifications:Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).Experience or strong knowledge in cardiac telemetry and inpatient acute care nursing.Ability to perform in a dynamic, team-based care environment.Completion of a proctored rhythm test is required.Location:Nashville, TN, is a vibrant city known for its rich musical heritage, diverse culinary scene, and welcoming community.
