Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Providing critical and compassionate care in a dynamic emergency room environment, this RN role requires expertise in assessing, prioritizing, and responding to urgent clinical situations. The position is based in Muskogee, OK, and offers the opportunity to work on a contract basis in a high-energy setting where your skills directly impact patient outcomes.Responsibilities:Assess patients clinical conditions, recognize and interpret serious situations, prioritize care, and initiate appropriate emergency measures when physicians are unavailable.Operate and monitor emergency care equipment including infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.Administer prescribed therapeutic measures such as medications, IV therapy, respiratory therapy, and mechanical ventilation.Document patient observations, nursing interventions, and coordinate activities with other healthcare professionals.Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring proper documentation and staff assignment based on patient needs.Maintain unit safety, manage supplies and equipment, and contribute to a secure and efficient care environment.Qualifications / Desired Experience:Minimum of 3 years experience as an RN in emergency nursing.Current Oklahoma RN License or Compact License.Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.Strong ability to work in a fast-paced setting and effectively multitask.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Must pass pre-employment credentialing including background check and drug screen.Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs.Schedule:12-hour shifts.About Muskogee, OK:Muskogee offers a blend of small-town charm and rich cultural heritage, with a welcoming community and access to outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing.
