Waukee provides a balance of suburban comfort with convenient access to larger metropolitan amenities, making it an ideal place to live and work.Key Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients following established protocols.Efficiently assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.Float between Mercy Main and West Campus on an every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) schedule, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and care plans.Qualifications / Desired Experience:Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa.Minimum of Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing experience.Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical environment.Strong communication and critical thinking skills.Willingness to float between the main campus and the west campus as required.Other Details:Job Type: ContractSchedule: Every Other Weekend (EOW), Every Other Holiday (EOH) with floating responsibilities between campusesThis contract position offers a professional setting where nursing expertise is valued, and flexibility is essential.
