Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A healthcare opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with MedSurg and Telemetry experience in Warner Robins, GA. This contract role offers engagement in a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital equipped with a Stroke and Chest Pain Center designation, serving a diverse inpatient population.Location Overview:Warner Robins is a thriving city in Georgia known for its excellent healthcare facilities and community-focused living. The hospital is part of a regional network serving a broad demographic, providing a busy but team-oriented work environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide nursing care for patients with acute or chronic illnesses on MedSurg and Telemetry units.Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage post-cardiac catheterization care including TR bands and groin site management.Manage drips including insulin, heparin, Cardizem, amiodarone, milrinone, Digoxin, and nicardipine with specific titration protocols.Perform trach care, chest tube management, PIV starts, and IV maintenance.Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, assist in discharge planning, and educate patients.Float across MedSurg and Telemetry units as needed.Utilize EMR systems (EPIC) and operate hospital-specific equipment including cardiac monitors and infusion pumps.Qualifications/Experience:Minimum 2 years MedSurg/Telemetry RN experience.Current RN license.BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
