Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A contract opportunity is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in school-based therapy services located in Cambridge, MA. This role involves supporting students' physical development and mobility needs in an educational setting, helping them achieve their full potential.Key Responsibilities:Provide skilled physical therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to each students individual needs.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement comprehensive therapy plans.Document and track student progress, adjusting therapy goals as appropriate.Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to discuss student progress and therapy objectives.Ensure all therapy services comply with school policies and regulatory standards.Desired Qualifications:Current licensure as a Physical Therapist, with experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.Strong understanding of developmental milestones and strategies for working with children in an educational environment.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, families, and school staff.Commitment to supporting student success and well-being.Location:This role is based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, providing an opportunity to work within a vibrant school community.Benefits:While this is a contract position, it offers the chance to gain experience in an educational setting and make a meaningful impact on students lives.If you have a passion for pediatric physical therapy and are seeking a contract position in Cambridge, MA, consider applying for this opportunity to contribute your expertise to an educational environment.Compensation for this position ranges from $41.67 to $61.67.
