Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A specialized nursing opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses with expertise in oncology and bone marrow transplant (BMT) care. This contract role is based in Mason, OH, on a combined 30-bed inpatient BMT/Oncology unit that includes stem cell therapy, chemotherapy, and clinical trials. Nurses will work alongside a dedicated team providing advanced care in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:Administer chemotherapy and manage complex BMT patient care in a 16-bed and 14-bed inpatient settingUtilize EPIC EMR for accurate charting and documentationMonitor patients closely with typical nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5-6 to ensure quality careFloat to other comparable units as needed to support patient care and unit operationsQualifications:Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Med Surg, telemetry, PCU, BMT, or inpatient oncology settingsAt least 1 year of travel nursing experienceMinimum 2 years of Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experienceOncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy or Oncology Certified Nurse Certification (ONCC Chemo-bio)Proven experience administering chemotherapy safely and effectivelyProficient with EPIC EMR/charting systemsSchedule:36 hours per weekTypically 3 shifts of 12 hoursEvery other weekend rotationThis role offers the chance to work in a specialized oncology and BMT environment, enhancing clinical skills with exposure to stem cell therapy and clinical trials.
