Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse skilled in Cath Lab procedures, located in Kerrville, TX. The role is a contract position based at a hospital providing specialized cardiovascular care in a focused catheterization laboratory setting.The Cath Lab unit operates on the first floor, supporting an 84-bed facility with a dedicated team including Cath Lab Technologists and RNs. The unit utilizes Philips equipment and Meditech electronic medical records. Typical procedures include PCI and Interventional Radiology, requiring proficiency in these areas.Qualifications & Desired Experience:Current RN licensure requiredSignificant experience in Cath Lab nursingProficient in PCI and Interventional Radiology proceduresAbility to work effectively on day shifts (8:00 AM 5:00 PM)Strong interpersonal skills, friendly and professional demeanorFlexible to participate in a rotating on-call schedule during evenings and weekendsResponsibilities:Provide direct nursing care for patients undergoing catheterization proceduresCollaborate with physicians and Cath Lab staff to ensure patient safety and care qualityUtilize Philips technology and document care thoroughly using Meditech EMRAdhere to unit guidelines and hospital policies, including dress code (scrubs, any color)Participate in on-call rotations for comprehensive coverageSchedule/Hours:Day shifts, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PMRotating on-call for evenings and weekendsLocation:Situated in Kerrville, TX, this facility serves a community known for its scenic Hill Country environment and a welcoming small-town atmosphere.
