Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Deliver critical care in an emergency room setting with a rewarding contract opportunity located in Wagoner, OK. This role demands an experienced Registered Nurse with a focus on Emergency Nursing to provide expert assessment, intervention, and support in fast-paced situations where quick decision-making is essential.Key Responsibilities:Assess and prioritize patient clinical conditions, initiating immediate action during emergencies, especially when a physician is not readily available.Skillfully operate and monitor emergency care equipment, including infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors.Administer physician-prescribed therapeutic measures such as medications, IV therapy affecting hemodynamic status, respiratory therapy, and mechanical ventilation.Accurately document nursing interventions, patient status, and coordinate care activities with multidisciplinary teams.Develop and implement individualized care plans while ensuring the alignment of staff skills with patient needs.Maintain unit supplies and equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient healthcare environment.Qualifications and Experience:Minimum of 3 years experience in Emergency Nursing.Current Oklahoma or Compact RN License is required.Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks effectively.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Must meet pre-employment credentialing requirements, including a background check and drug screening.Physical ability to meet job demands, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.Schedule:12-hour shifts offering consistency and focused patient care.Wagoner, OK offers a welcoming community atmosphere with easy access to natural outdoor spaces and cultural amenities.
