Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A registered nurse with emergency department expertise is needed for a contract opportunity in Concord, NC. This role emphasizes critical care skills in a fast-paced setting, caring for both pediatric and adult patients with diverse acute conditions including cardiac events, stroke, and minor trauma. The position requires at least 2 years of ED RN experience and advanced certifications to provide high-level care within a 16-bed unit.Qualifications & Experience:Minimum 2 years Emergency Department RN experience (Resource Team preferred)Current RN licensure with BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required; TNCC preferredProficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation, critical care drip management, ventilator support, chest tube care, PIV starts, TNK/TPA administration, conscious sedation, and ESI assessmentsAbility to manage patient ratios approximately 1:4-5 based on acuityComfort with facility technologies including Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Phillips monitorsLocation Overview:Concord, NC, offers a vibrant community environment with a blend of urban amenities and Southern charm.
