Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Deliver compassionate, skilled care in a dynamic nursing role based in Dubuque, IA, specializing in Medical-Surgical (MS) patient care. This contract opportunity involves a unique blend of responsibilities, including rotating between MS and Emergency Department (ED) patient care to provide comprehensive nursing support.Key Responsibilities:Provide expert nursing care to Medical-Surgical patients, ensuring patient safety and comfort.Collaborate with a team of two RNs dedicated to MS patient care; adapt quickly to shifting patient needs.Respond promptly to Emergency Department admissions by transitioning to ED care as needed.Manage a low patient census (ADC=3), enabling focused, high-quality patient interactions.Participate in a holiday rotation schedule, requiring coverage of at least one holiday during the assignment.Desired Qualifications/Experience:Registered Nurse (RN) license with demonstrated Medical-Surgical (RN-MS) expertise.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Flexibility to support roles in both Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department settings.Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills.Schedule:Every 3rd Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.Holiday rotation included, ensuring comprehensive coverage.Location Overview:Dubuque, Iowa, offers a welcoming community with a blend of rich cultural heritage and scenic beauty along the Mississippi River.
