Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Located in Wilmington, DE, this full-time contract position offers an opportunity to work as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting elementary students with complex behavioral needs in school settings. Candidates must hold an active RBT certification or provide proof of previous certification. Experience working in schools supporting students with aggressive or complex behaviors is required.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct behavioral support to elementary students in general education classrooms.Implement individualized behavior support plans (BSPs) and applied behavior analysis (ABA) programming.Deliver life-skills assistance including self-care, toileting, and bathroom duties without exception.Assist in crisis management when necessary.Be flexible to work at different school sites within Wilmington, DE, as assignments may change based on district needs.Qualifications and Experience:Active or previously held Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (snapshot of certification required).Proven experience in school-based behavioral support, specifically supporting students with aggressive or complex behaviors.Comfortable performing all life-skills duties, including toileting and diapering.Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential; candidates must work full scheduled hours (8:45 AM 4:15 PM, Monday through Friday).Ability to complete district fingerprinting requirements promptly.Previous experience working within the district is a plus.Locations:4th and 5th grade classrooms at Mote Elementary.3rd grade classroom at Richardson Park Elementary.Benefits and Work Details:Full-time contract through June 12, 2026.Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.Flexible placement within designated schools in Wilmington to meet student needs.Candidates ready to deliver dedicated behavioral support in dynamic school environments are encouraged to prepare their resume, active RBT certification snapshot, and summary of relevant experience for consideration.
