Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year at a special education cooperative serving elementary to junior high students in Grundy County, Illinois. This role requires a dedicated professional with school-based SLP experience and a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). The assignment begins ASAP and extends through May 2026.Responsibilities:Providing speech-language therapy to a caseload primarily consisting of students on the autism spectrumManaging therapy services across three schools: one located in Morris, IL, serving approximately 20 students, and two schools in Minooka, IL, with roughly 8 and 7 students respectivelyCollaborating with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student communication and educational goalsMaintaining detailed documentation of student progress and therapy outcomesQualifications:Valid state licensure as an SLP with CCC certificationPrior experience delivering speech therapy services in a school settingAbility to manage a caseload of varying needs, particularly involving autism spectrum disorderStrong communication and teamwork skillsFlexibility to work approximately 32.5-37.5 hours per weekLocation: Grundy County Special Education Cooperative, serving schools in Morris and Minooka, IL.Benefits:Full-time contract for the academic yearOpportunity to impact students communication development and academic successExperience within a collaborative special education environmentQualified candidates who meet these requirements and are interested in working with a diverse school caseload are encouraged to apply promptly.
