Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Mechanicsburg, PA, serving preschool-aged children (3 to 5 years) with special needs across various locations in Adams and York Counties. This contract position supports speech-language therapy in multiple early childhood settings, including preschool special education classrooms, Head Start programs, Pre-K Counts classes, daycares, and community preschools.Key Responsibilities:Provide speech-language therapy services to preschool students in a range of community and educational settings.Serve 'walk-in' students brought in by parents for speech therapy sessions.Manage a caseload that will reach up to 55 students by the end of the school year.Travel to various sites within Adams (New Oxford) and York (York Learning Center) Counties, with travel time included in working hours.Complete IEP paperwork and attend relevant meetings, allotting half a day per week for these duties.Work approximately 188 days per year following the preschool stretch calendar, with a 35-hour workweek.Follow best practices for early intervention; experience in Early Intervention programs is preferred.Supervision is required for clinical fellows (CFs); agencies may provide supervision at a cost.Qualifications:Current Speech-Language Pathology state certification (PA certification required).CCC-SLP or eligibility for clinical fellowship.Experience working with preschool-aged children with special needs, preferably within early intervention or preschool settings.Ability to travel regularly to multiple work sites within assigned counties.Candidates with CF status are welcome; supervision will be provided by the agency.Locations:York Learning Center, 300 E Seventh Ave, York, PA (York County)65 Billerbeck St, New Oxford, PA (Adams County)This position offers an enriching opportunity to impact young learners development across diverse environments, with a structured schedule and collaborative work settings. xijylhu Interested applicants should submit their PA certification and resume to proceed with consideration.
