Job DescriptionPlease read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential therapy services to preschool-aged children with special needs across various educational settings. This contract position is based in Hanover, PA, serving both York and Adams Counties within a supportive school environment.Responsibilities include:Delivering speech-language therapy to children aged 3 to 5 years in preschool special education classrooms, Head Start programs, PreK Counts classes, daycares, and community preschools.Providing services to walk-in students whose parents bring them directly for therapy.Managing a caseload that will grow to approximately 55 students by the end of the school year.Traveling between different locations, including York Learning Center (York County) and a site in New Oxford (Adams County), with travel time included in the hours worked.Participating in IEP meetings and dedicating a half-day per week for paperwork.Working a 35-hour week on a preschool stretch calendar totaling 188 days yearly.Desired Qualifications:Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred, or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF), with supervision provided.Experience in early intervention and preschool speech therapy is strongly preferred.Ability to work independently and travel between multiple locations.PA certification required.Note: SLPAs and VOCO services are not utilized in this role.This position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners during critical developmental years while working within a collaborative school district setting.
