Job DescriptionIf you are interested in applying for this job, please make sure you meet the following requirements as listed below.Job DescriptionMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in York, PA, serving early childhood special education programs within the region. This role focuses on delivering speech-language therapy to preschool-aged children with special needs in multiple educational settings.Location:York County (York Learning Center, 300 E Seventh Ave, York, PA)Adams County (65 Billerbeck St, New Oxford, PA)Key Responsibilities:Provide speech-language therapy to preschool students (ages 3-5) across various settings including preschool special education classrooms, Head Start programs, PreK Counts classes, daycares, community preschools, and walk-in students.Manage a caseload of 55 students by the end of the contract year.Maintain documentation including paperwork and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings (half day weekly).Travel between assigned locations within the counties as required (travel time included in hours).Collaborate with early intervention programs; prior preschool early intervention experience is preferred.Qualifications:Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with appropriate PA certification for school settings.Candidates with a Clinical Fellowship (CF) are welcome; agency support with supervision available (supervision cost of $2000).Experience working with preschool-aged children and special education populations.Ability to work 35 hours per week under a preschool stretch calendar (188 days per year).SLP Assistants (SLPAs) and VOCO technology usage are not supported in this position.This opportunity provides a home base in either York or New Oxford with travel to various sites. xijylhu The contract runs through June 2026.Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply promptly to support early childhood speech services in these communities.
