Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A full-time school-based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role is available supporting elementary students with complex and aggressive behaviors. This contract position is located in Wilmington, DE, specifically within Richardson Park Elementary (3rd grade) and Mote Elementary (4th and 5th grades). Assignments may shift within the district based on student needs, so flexibility is essential.Key Responsibilities:Implement intensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) for students exhibiting complex behavioral challenges.Provide direct one-on-one behavioral support within general education classrooms.Assist with life-skills activities, including self-care, toileting, and bathroom duties, ensuring students safety and dignity.Support crisis intervention efforts as needed to ensure a safe learning environment.Collaborate with educators and behavioral specialists to adjust strategies to meet individual student goals.Qualifications/Experience:Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or previously held certification (proof required).Demonstrated school-based experience supporting students with aggressive or complex behaviors.Comfortable performing life-skills assistance including toileting and hygiene support.Reliable transportation to the Wilmington, DE area.Ability to work full-time hours (8:45 AM 4:15 PM) consistently, with no part-time or modified shifts.Flexibility to be assigned to different schools or classrooms as district needs arise.This position offers an opportunity to make a direct impact on students educational and behavioral success while working within a supportive school setting.
