Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.This role calls for a knowledgeable Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead and oversee all pharmacy operations at a home infusion pharmacy. You will be responsible for ensuring the pharmacy meets its business objectives, maintaining regulatory compliance, and supporting financial stability, while guiding the management team and developing strategies for growth.Location: Iowa City, IA (with opportunities in Cedar Rapids, IA)Schedule:Day shiftAvailability to provide 24-hour guidance to pharmacy staff and servicesKey Responsibilities:Maintain adequate staffing to ensure consistent hours of operationPerform pharmacy duties as needed to support staffOversee dispensing of pharmaceutical products, supplies, and equipmentEnsure compliance with policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standardsAssist in policy development and revisionsDirect orientation and ongoing training of pharmacy personnelSupport on-site inspections, survey preparedness, and accreditation processesCommunicate effectively with staff and spend time on administrative tasks involving computer work and filingQualifications:Bachelor of Science or PharmD from an accredited pharmacy schoolActive Iowa pharmacist license (licenses in additional states a plus)Minimum 4 years recent clinical pharmacy experience, including home infusionPreferred: 2+ years clinical pharmacy management experiencePreferred: Knowledge of CPR+ softwareThis contract-to-hire opportunity comes with attractive incentives for direct-hire candidates, including a $20,000 sign-on bonus and $5,000 relocation assistance.
