Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A specialty compounding pharmacy is seeking a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Kennett Square, PA. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy and safety of sterile and non-sterile compounded preparations in compliance with regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:Ensure all compounded sterile and non-sterile preparations are accurate and adhere to master formula worksheets.Implement and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for compounding to maintain patient safety and regulatory compliance.Maintain compliance with USP guidelines and other relevant federal and state regulations concerning compounding.Perform calculations and complete documentation required for compounded medications.Operate and monitor production equipment accurately, adhering strictly to policies and procedures.Prepare work areas thoroughly prior to production and use appropriate aseptic techniques.Conduct quality control tests and inspections to verify the quality, purity, and potency of compounded medications.Stay updated on new compounding techniques, formulations, and technologies while engaging in continuous professional development.Qualifications:Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license.Recent pharmacy experience with specific expertise in sterile compounding.Schedule:Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM.This position offers a chance to apply your sterile compounding expertise in a specialized pharmacy environment with the potential to transition into a permanent role. xijylhu Candidates with a strong commitment to compliance and quality control are encouraged to apply for consideration.
