Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge with expertise in sterile compounding, ready to oversee regulatory compliance and quality assurance within a compounding pharmacy setting. This role is based onsite Monday through Friday in Albany, Ohio, with options for direct hire, temp-to-perm, and relocation assistance for qualified candidates.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge for Ohio and other states as applicable, ensuring full compliance with FDA, DEA, State Boards of Pharmacy, and Section 503B regulations.Maintain licensure for both pharmacist and facility across multiple states.Lead and represent the pharmacy during inspections by regulatory bodies including Board of Pharmacy, FDA, and DEA.Develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training programs.Oversee regulatory reporting, complaint handling, recalls, and quality-related investigations.Manage Quality Assurance and Control activities such as batch record review, investigations, validations, and environmental monitoring.Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).Approve change controls, product labeling, and conduct annual product reviews.Supervise vendor qualification, incoming materials inspections, reserve sample programs, and quality metrics reporting.Qualifications:Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing; additional multi-state licensure preferred.Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing teams.Deep knowledge of cGMP, FDA and DEA regulations, sterile injectable manufacturing, and non-sterile compounding.Proven track record successfully leading regulatory audits and inspections.Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.Preferred:10+ years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industries.7+ years in quality or compliance roles with increasing responsibility.Benefits and Perks:Competitive salary with full benefits including health, dental, and flexible spending accounts.401(k) plan with company contributions.Company-paid life and disability insurance.Generous paid time off with increases based on tenure.Tuition reimbursement and strong long-term career growth potential.Relocation assistance available.This position is an excellent chance for a compliance-focused pharmacy leader to advance their career in a dynamic, regulatory-driven environment.
