Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.This direct hire opportunity seeks a seasoned Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to oversee operations at a compounding pharmacy located in Albany, Ohio. This role offers a chance to lead regulatory compliance and quality assurance processes within a dynamic pharmaceutical environment. Candidates considering relocation will benefit from a comprehensive relocation package, and there is flexibility for a temp-to-perm traveler option.Schedule:Monday through FridayOnsite in Albany, OhioKey Responsibilities:Act as Pharmacist-in-Charge for Ohio and other non-resident state licenses.Ensure compliance with FDA, DEA, State Board of Pharmacy, and Section 503B requirements.Maintain licensure for pharmacists and facilities across multiple states.Lead and represent the facility during inspections by the Board of Pharmacy, FDA, and DEA.Develop and maintain SOPs and training programs.Oversee regulatory reporting, recalls, complaints, and quality-related investigations.Provide regulatory guidance to cross-functional teams.Manage QA/QC including batch record reviews, investigations, environmental monitoring, and validation activities.Implement and uphold the Quality Management System (QMS).Review change controls, product labeling, and annual product reviews.Handle vendor qualification and reserve sample programs.Conduct root cause analysis and present quality metrics to leadership.Qualifications / Desired Experience:Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing.Experience with multi-state licensure preferred.Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).Minimum five years of leadership experience managing teams.In-depth knowledge of cGMP, FDA and DEA regulations, sterile injectable manufacturing, and non-sterile compounding.Proven track record leading inspections and audits.Strong communication and presentation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Preferred: 10+ years in pharma, biotech, or medical device industries and 7+ years in quality/compliance roles with increasing responsibility.Benefits and Perks:Competitive salary package.Relocation assistance.Comprehensive health, dental, and flexible spending accounts.401(k) plan with company contribution.Company-paid life and disability insurance.Generous PTO with increases based on tenure.Tuition reimbursement.Opportunities for long-term growth and advancement.This is an excellent leadership role in a specialized pharmacy setting with the support of a robust benefits package and career development paths. xijylhu Candidates ready to lead compliance and quality assurance initiatives are encouraged to apply for consideration.
