Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead pharmacy operations with a focus on home infusion services. The PIC is responsible for the overall management and success of the pharmacy, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and financial stability. This role requires strategic leadership, staff oversight, and active participation in regulatory and accreditation processes.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all pharmacy activities at the assigned location, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.Ensure adequate staffing and provide direct oversight of dispensing pharmaceutical products, supplies, and equipment.Perform pharmacy personnel duties as needed to support the team.Maintain compliance with all relevant policies, state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards.Participate in policy development, review, and revision.Manage staff orientation, training, and ongoing development.Lead preparations for inspections, surveys, and accreditation processes.Provide 24-hour guidance and support to employees and pharmacy services as part of the PIC role.Qualifications:B.S. or PharmD degree from an accredited pharmacy school.Active Iowa pharmacist license; additional state licenses advantageous.Minimum of 4 years recent clinical pharmacy experience.Proven home infusion pharmacy experience is required.Preferred: 2+ years of clinical pharmacy management experience.Familiarity with CPR+ pharmacy software a plus.Schedule:Day shift, with responsibility for 24-hour oversight availability.Location:Position based in the Dubuque or Cedar Rapids, IA area with flexibility.Compensation and Benefits:Contract-to-hire opportunity with competitive, negotiable salary.$20,000 sign-on bonus and $5,000 relocation assistance available for direct-hire candidates.Iowa pharmacist license fee covered.This position blends hands-on pharmacy responsibilities with leadership and strategic oversight in a dynamic home infusion environment.
